Depressive Episodes

Depressive episodes is a period of at least 2 weeks during which time there is
depressed mood or the loss of interest or pleasure in nearly all activities, loss of
appetite or weight, problems sleeping, decreased energy, feelings of worthlessness
or guilt, difficult thinking, concentrating or making decisions.   

This goes on for most of the day, nearly every day for at least 2 weeks.  You make feel
sad, helpless, discouraged or “down in the dumps”, have the “blahs”, having no
feelings or feeling anxious. There may even some body aches and increased
irritability, angry outbursts, exaggerated sense of frustration over minor things or
simply don’t care anymore.*
